I wish I could push a button and have everyone stop asking and thinking about Megapixel Count and begin asking about the Dynamic Range. Does the community still believe that they will witness a difference between their 16x20's of a 16meg and 21meg Bodies? To be frank, for most of our needs anything above 8meg is a waste and it's all about the dynamic range. Watch, soon most will "get it" and ask only that.

Not that the rumour mills are always to be trusted, but a couple of them state that Canon has arranged a press conference on the 17th to make some 'important announcement'. Either way, 17th or the 23rd, I guess we'll know before too long!
