Nikon looks to the future.
Nikon has added an in-camera vignetting adjustment in their latest D3 software release:
Now their approach is pretty limited, you cannot see the effect in other than Nikon software (Duh! What are they thinking of?) and many of the lenses that probably benefit most (like the 20-35mm D) are excluded. […]

Overlays add high quality pictures.
I popped over to Paris this morning, the flight taking just a few seconds, courtesy of Google Earth.
After all, if you are sightseeing, why not start with the most beautiful city on earth?
The small track ball on my Apple Mighty Mouse functions as a zoom control - neat.

Great device, poorly marketed
