One of FDR&#8217;s best ideas, these great photojournalists recorded the first Great Depression in stunning black and white.<\/p>\n<p>As luck would have it, a friend sent along a link to the Denver Post with no fewer than seventy extraordinary color works.  Most have wonderful color with the exception of #19, which has a bad magenta cast, which I have fixed and reproduce below.
