An illuminated<br \/>\nperiod garage sign can easily command $2,000.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_04.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThese sold for much more.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_05.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nOld gas pumps are very costly.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_06.jpg\" width=\"681\" height=\"1014\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThis chap was calling for pricing advice.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_07.jpg\" width=\"681\" height=\"1014\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nHigh quality replicars were everywhere.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_08.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nAfter much outlay of Henry Ford II&#8217;s wealth, the GT40 &#8211;<br \/>\n40&#8243; tall at the roofline &#8211; won Le Mans in 1966, and then<br \/>\nagain in 1967, 1968 and 1969.  Thereafter Porsche dominated.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_09.jpg\" width=\"681\" height=\"1014\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThere are a great many of these enormous tents.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_10.jpg\" width=\"681\" height=\"1014\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nPennzoil had itself convinced, if no one else, that<br \/>\nonly their product would save your engine from doom.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_11.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nHuge tractor trailers are the order of the day for the monied set.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_12.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nLovely period detail on GM&#8217;s finest, the Corvette.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_14.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nPininfarina&#8217;s body on the 512BB remains peerless.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_15.jpg\" width=\"726\" height=\"1014\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nSpotlighting in the tents makes everything look better.<br \/>\nPractically speaking, 90% of the vehicles on display<br \/>\nhave zero collector value and will only depreciate.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_16.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThis is the real thing, a beautifully restored Chevy Bel Air.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_17.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nGlitz.  Cruella DeVil&#8217;s car.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_18.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nThe food served here is quite exceptionally bad.<br \/>\nThis was the least awful &#8211; noodles at $11 a small cup!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_19.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nAcres of cars.  Only in America.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_20.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nA &#8217;40s Mercury two door coupe, quite lovely.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_21.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nReady for the jousting tournament.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pindelski.org\/Blog2\/BJ_22.jpg\" width=\"1014\" height=\"681\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\nA fine period US Forest Service truck.<\/p>\n<p><\/i><br \/>\n<\/center><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m informed by experts that an auction is the worst possible place to buy a car.  The displays make everything look glamorous, you overbid in the excitement and as for pre-purchase inspections, fughedaboutit.
