It makes me cry inside to think one day film will be lost forever!
I have used a Leica M6 for the last 15 years and even though I now have Fuju Finepix S3 Pro which is fantastic, the M6 is still a contant companion. The quality of the light in every picture because of the lenses is special, and the cameras small size and silence, makes you nearly invisible to the people you photograph. You can see some of my Leica Stuff on http://www.lubomirski.co.uk/gallery7.htm
I think film will still be available 10 years from now, but it will be a very small niche.
Thanks for an excellent blog.
