Sundae

Mmmm…

The Ghirardelli Chocolate store in Ghirardelli Square, SF has moved next door to much larger premises and it’s one of my son’s favorite things. He always orders the ice cream sundae, as did these two lovely women seated next to us outdoors, by the fire grate.

The Prayer

A spot of luck.

This couple took quite a while to pray over their food before tucking in, eyes shut tight (during the praying bit, not while tucking in). I sort of idly watched the scene thinking it rather blah as an image when the third diner magically popped up. Bingo!

The Jockey

Lighting the way.

You rarely see these any more. I believe they originated in the South where the jockey would hold a light showing visitors the way to your home. Of course, in the South they always had black faces. Can’t have that now, can we?
