A break in Broadway’s busy traffic shows this Edwardian masterpiece in its true splendor.

Judging by the Yelp reviews you may prefer to stay elsewhere than at this wonderfully named Golden Eagle Hotel shown here:

This is at the same time one of the seediest and most photogenic areas of North Beach, San Francisco.

In contrast to the EMS crew dealing with the flailing lunatic in yesterday’s snaps, this calm scene shows the crew helping a lovely, elderly lady to her home on Columbus Avenue, North Beach.

The stretcher case was flailing wildly with his fists, language to match, at the EMS crew. A shot of something in the nether regions put paid to his antics.
